The latest generation portable console from Nintendo, the 3DS is selling like hot cakes on a Sunday morning. Lets find out why. At first glance it looks much like its older brothers, the same dual screen and the same touch sensitive interface. On a closer look however you find not two but three cameras. The two cameras on the exterior of the device allow 3D image capture although a combined resolution of a measly one mega-pixel is heartbreaking. But something really interesting about it is that it also allows for augmented reality games.
The 3DS is loaded with feature such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, WiFi, 2GB NAND Flash memory storage, and the best part; the Auto-Stereoscopic 3D, where you no longer require to wear 3D glasses.
