Couch potatoes!

The days when children used to go out and play are long gone. Generation X & Y are known for tech savvy attitude and love for news gizmos, video games and things of the kind. But have we realized how cut off from the real world are we? Let us take fantasy video games for instance. Gamers are pushed into a world which can never be replicated in real life. They get so involved in the character of the game, that fantasy becomes their reality. The video game era has been making young children forget their youth. Playing baseball or football on grounds is becoming obsolete as you probably have those very games on your play station or Xbox. Video games are a good pastime. But let us endeavor to give children back their youth and not make them mere couch potatoes!
