One of the most successful game franchises in recent years has been the Crysis series. Launched in 2007 as Crysis and followed up by Crysis Warhead, this game is developed by Crytek , and published by EA Games.
The latest iteration of this game, Crysis 2, is a sequel to the original game. It was announced in late 2009 and launched at the beginning of this year. The game takes place 3 years after the game the events of the first game, which took place in 2020. The story of the game says that the city of Manhattan has been infested by the Manhattan Virus, and members of the CELL (Crynet Enforcement and Local Logistics) move in to fight the outbreak.
