Playstation2 vs. Playstation 3: At the time of Playstation 2 release there are lots of things that go in the favor of this sexy devise. Playstation2 was released at that time when there was no other console to produce this huge amount of power. The high demand of Playstation 2 was not because of its game but it has the option of the DVD player, and we can easily get this devise in terms of the real DVD players. It is cheaper than the other DVD players and the manufactures were strained to slice down the prices of their DVDs.
But after the launch of the PS3, they did not get as much response as they were expecting from their fans. The main reason is Blu ray DVD, which is very costly and it cannot be afford by all the gaming fans. And they didn’t added much more in their new next generation console. Still Playstation 2 is in the driver seat and beating the PS3 market. So playstation3 seems to be losing out on the playstation2.
